Couples therapy

Why seek couples therapy?

All couples go through turbulent times. Life as a couple has its challenges: managing daily life, personality differences, work stress, parenthood, sexuality, etc.

When conflicts become recurrent, communication deteriorates, or one feels disconnected from their partner, couples therapy can offer a neutral and supportive space to reconnect.

We support couples in their journey to better relationship health, in French or English, in person or remotely. Our goal is to help you understand each other better, restore communication, and find lasting solutions together.

Couples therapy is not reserved for extreme situations. It can be useful at all stages of the relationship: new union, cohabitation, marriage, parenthood, life transitions, planned separation, etc.

  • Repetitive conflicts or frequent arguments

  • Communication or comprehension difficulties

  • Loss of confidence or jealousy

  • Intimacy or sexuality problems

  • Differences in values or life plans

  • Infidelity or crisis of confidence

  • Feelings of distance or loneliness in the relationship

  • Disagreements in child-rearing

Online or in-person sessions

We offer in-person consultations at our Toronto office, as well as online sessions via a secure platform. Teletherapy allows you to receive psychological support from anywhere in Ontario, in the comfort of your own home, while maintaining confidentiality and the quality of care.

A typical session lasts 50 minutes. The frequency can be weekly, bi-weekly, or adjusted to your needs. Some choose a short-term approach (5 to 10 sessions), while others commit to deeper work over several months.
